I’m Seçil, the photographer behind Seçil Özdemir Photography. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of one of the most meaningful days in people’s lives and to capture moments that will be remembered for years to come.

Based in Germany, I have been photographing weddings for over ten years. I’m drawn to honest emotions, natural light and the quiet moments in between. My approach is calm, unobtrusive and focused on documenting the day as it truly unfolds. My journey started when I was 15, when my parents gave me my first camera for my birthday. Not long after, I began photographing weddings for friends and family and slowly built my portfolio. In 2015, I turned my passion into my own business. Finding my style took time, but today I’m proud of the way I see, feel and capture moments.

What matters most to me are the real connections, the laughter, the tears and all the small details that make every story unique. I want my photographs to feel honest, timeless and personal. My photography style is soft, natural and emotional. I don’t focus on stiff posing or perfect setups. Instead, I pay attention to real moments as they happen. I love working with natural light, gentle tones and a calm atmosphere, allowing people to feel comfortable and truly themselves in front of my camera.
