I’m Seçil, a fine art wedding photographer based in Europe, drawn to soft light, honest moments, and a timeless aesthetic. My work is defined by natural tones and a calm, intuitive approach. I don’t follow trends, but rather focus on creating images that feel effortless and true, preserving moments as they are meant to be remembered. Whenever possible, I work with natural light, allowing each scene to unfold gently and without force. I believe that the most meaningful photographs are created in the quiet in between moments, where emotion and connection exist naturally. Photography has been a constant part of my life for over 15 years, shaping the way I see and experience the world.
Barcelona is my favorite city, a place that feels both inspiring and familiar. I am especially drawn to its quiet corners, where soft light meets roses, fountains, and a sense of stillness. Alongside weddings, my work has naturally evolved into documenting maternity, newborn, and family moments, often for couples I have photographed before. These long lasting connections are at the heart of what I do. I find inspiration in nature, in the mountains, and in slow, creative moments like painting with watercolors. I have a deep appreciation for florals, especially ranunculus and garden roses, and I will always be drawn to the beauty of thoughtful details.

I naturally build a close connection with my couples, and very often I am mistaken for a friend of the bride and groom during the wedding day. This is something I truly value, as it creates a sense of trust and ease that can be felt in every image. Many of my couples stay in touch long after their wedding. For me, this connection is just as important as the photographs themselves. I approach every wedding with empathy and intention. I always ask myself how I would want to feel in your place, and how I would want my own memories to be captured.
You do not need any experience in front of the camera. Most of my couples feel unsure at first, and that is completely natural. I gently guide you in a way that feels comfortable and natural, so you can simply be yourself. I am especially attentive to emotions, energy and the people around you. This allows me to work intuitively, also with guests and children, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere throughout the day. My priority is that you feel relaxed, present and truly at ease. Because only then can your photographs feel honest, refined and lasting.

MY JOURNEY SO FAR
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN AND HOW IT’S GOING NOW
2008: The year I got my very first camera
I received my first camera at the age of 15, a moment that marked the beginning of my journey. Growing up, my family always encouraged my creativity, giving me the freedom to explore and develop my own visual language.
2011: First weddings
By the age of 18, I took on my first job assisting a wedding photographer. While still in school, I gained my first real experience at weddings, observing and learning how these special days unfold. At that time, I had no idea that photography would become my path or that I would stay in the wedding industry for many years to come.
2018: My own path
While still studying, I officially started my own business and began working more independently in the wedding industry. Alongside weddings, I also photographed maternity, newborns, family portraits, and a variety of other sessions, which helped me grow both creatively and professionally.
2020: Unexpected shift
As the pandemic paused weddings and human connection, I shifted my focus towards content creation for fine jewelry, specializing in diamonds and refined, high-end visuals. This led to the creation of my brand Ceora Creative Studio
2022 & BEYOND
My work has naturally evolved through the relationships I have built over the years. Many of my former wedding couples have returned to me, this time to document new chapters of their lives. Alongside weddings, I began photographing maternity, newborns, and families in a very organic way. What started unintentionally has grown into a meaningful part of my work, shaped by trust, continuity, and genuine connection. Today, I continue to photograph weddings, while also focusing on newborn and family sessions, as well as selected portrait and commercial work including my ongoing projects in fine jewelry.
