Some weddings feel extra special. I first met Stella at her sister’s wedding, which I photographed a few years ago. Since then, I’ve had the chance to photograph many special moments for her family, and somehow, over the years, they became more than just clients. They became a family I’m always happy to see again.

So being there for Stella and Dominik’s wedding in May meant so much to me. Seeing everyone again, being welcomed with so much warmth and spending another beautiful day together felt incredibly familiar, almost like being part of the family.

Their wedding took place at Gut Hesterberg in Neuruppin, just outside Berlin. A little village church, a beautiful farm, the most wonderful atmosphere and so many heartfelt moments throughout the day.

And of course, the donkeys and ponies made an appearance for their portraits, which was definitely one of my favourite parts. 

I feel incredibly grateful for families who invite me back to photograph their biggest moments, year after year. There is something truly special about growing with a family and being trusted to preserve these memories along the way.
