I first met Stella at her sister’s wedding, which I photographed a few years ago. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph so many special moments for their family, and somehow, over the years, they became more than just clients. They became a family I always love seeing again.

That’s why it meant so much to me to be there for Stella and Dominik’s wedding in May. Seeing everyone again, being welcomed with so much warmth and spending another beautiful day together felt incredibly familiar, almost as if I were part of the family myself.

Their wedding took place at Gut Hesterberg in Neuruppin, just outside Berlin. The concept was a fairytale wedding, filled with soft powder pink tones, bows and romantic details. A little village church, a beautiful farm, a wonderfully warm atmosphere and so many heartfelt moments throughout the day made it truly special.

And of course, the donkeys and ponies made their appearance for the portraits, which was definitely one of my favorite parts of the day.

I’m incredibly grateful for families who invite me back year after year to photograph their biggest moments. There is something so special about growing alongside a family and being trusted to preserve these memories along the way.
